The baby’s heartbeat is usually detected at the first trimester which is around 12 weeks into your pregnancy. It is especially important to note that if you are trying to use the Heartbeat detector device at the early stages of your pregnancy, there is a chance that the heartbeat may not be strong enough to hear or the baby’s position might not be in a suitable position for the device to be able to obtain a clear reading of your baby’s heart rate. There are some rare occasions where the sound waves will echo while using the Heartbeat detector which will cause it to sound like there are two infants in the womb, do not panic unless of course you are expecting twins!
Please note: Patience is particularly important when it comes to using the heartbeat monitor, in case you find it difficult to detect the heartbeat after trying for 1-3 minutes don’t worry, allow yourself 20 minutes and try again.
The answer is yes, as this product operates at 2.5 MHz whereas a doctor’s Ultrasound diagnostic device operates from 3 to 10 MHz in order to provide more accurate readings.
